The Context
Of course at Ellysium we know there’s no better classroom than the pit box! Trackside activations bring learners directly into the Ellysium Racing world — into the paddock, the pit box, the energy of race week — for an experience that no textbook, field trip or guest lecture can replicate. These are structured learning experiences built around real motorsport events, with Ellis as both host and proof of concept.
The Mission
The goal is exposure to a world most kids never get access to, and to a version of themselves they didn't know existed. When a young person stands in a pit box next to a professional racing driver who is their age, something shifts. The conversation about what's possible becomes very real, very fast.
The Work
Activations are customized to the event and the group. A trackside experience might include a paddock and pit box tour with Ellis, a structured RC car challenge in the paddock, a pre-event workshop or school presentation in the lead-up to race week, or a full STEM-focused learning day built around the race weekend. We work with your organization to design the experience that makes the most sense for your learners and your budget.
The Win
Learners who have never cared about motorsport leave these events talking about engineering, about sustainability, about competition, failure & persistence at the highest level. More importantly, they leave having been seen and taken seriously by someone their own age who is already doing extraordinary things. That matters more than any curriculum outcome we could measure.
